Booking & Reservations
How do I book a trip with Merry Morocco?
Booking takes just a few minutes. Browse our tours and excursions, choose your destination (such as Marrakech, Chefchaouen, or the Sahara Desert), then select your travel dates and group size. Submit your booking request and you’ll receive a confirmation email with your full itinerary. You can pay securely online, or pay cash on arrival for selected tours.
Can I cancel or modify my booking?
Yes. You can cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before departure, and you’re welcome to reschedule subject to availability. Just reach out to our team and we’ll take care of the rest:
- Email: contact@merrymorocco.com
- Phone & WhatsApp: +212 691 830 292
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking 2 to 4 weeks ahead, especially during peak seasons (March–May and September–November) and for Sahara Desert trips, which fill up quickly. Last-minute bookings are often possible too — contact us and we’ll do our best to fit you in.
Will I receive a confirmation and itinerary?
Absolutely. Once your booking is confirmed, we email you a detailed day-by-day itinerary including pickup times, included activities, and your guide’s contact details so everything is clear before you travel.
Tours & Customization
Do you offer private or custom tours?
Yes — customization is what we do best. We offer private group tours with dedicated local guides, fully custom itineraries where you adjust the activities, dates, and routes, and family-friendly options tailored to travelers of all ages. Tell us what you’d love to see and we’ll design the trip around you.
What's included in a typical tour?
Most tours include private air-conditioned transport, a licensed English-speaking driver or guide, accommodation as listed in the itinerary, and the activities described. Some meals are included depending on the tour. Flights, personal expenses, and tips are not included. Each tour page lists exactly what’s covered.
What group sizes can you accommodate?
Everything from solo travelers and couples to large families and private groups. Our private tours are run exclusively for your party — no strangers joining — and we scale the vehicle and guide arrangements to match your group size.
What languages do your guides speak?
Our guides commonly speak English, French, Arabic, and Spanish, and other languages may be available on request. Just let us know your preferred language when booking and we’ll match you with the right guide.
Destinations & Planning
What are the most recommended destinations in Morocco?
Our travelers’ favorites include:
- Sahara Desert — camel trekking and nights in luxury desert camps
- Marrakech — vibrant souks, historic palaces, and lush gardens
- Chefchaouen — the iconic Blue City in the Rif Mountains
- Fes — the world’s largest medieval medina
- Agadir & the coast — beaches and seaside resorts
When is the best time to visit Morocco?
Spring (March–May) and autumn (September–November) offer the most comfortable weather across the country. Summers are hot inland (Marrakech, Fes) but pleasant on the coast, while the Sahara is best enjoyed from autumn through spring. We run tours year-round and can advise on the ideal timing for your route.
Do I need a visa to visit Morocco?
Travelers from many countries — including the US, UK, EU, Canada, and Australia — can enter Morocco visa-free for up to 90 days. Your passport should be valid for at least six months from your arrival date. Visa rules vary by nationality, so we always recommend confirming the latest requirements with your nearest Moroccan embassy or consulate before you travel.
How much time do I need to see Morocco?
A great introduction takes about 3 to 5 days (for example, Marrakech plus a desert excursion). To combine the imperial cities, mountains, and Sahara comfortably, we suggest 7 to 10 days. Short on time? We also run rewarding single-day trips from Marrakech, Fes, and other hubs.
Payments & Pricing
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept secure online card payments and bank transfers, and for selected tours you can also pay cash on arrival. Your confirmation email lists the payment options available for your specific booking.
Is a deposit required to confirm my booking?
For most tours a small deposit secures your reservation and dates, with the balance due before or at the start of your trip. The exact amount and due date are always stated clearly in your booking confirmation — no hidden surprises.
Are prices per person or per group?
It depends on the tour. Private tours are typically priced per group or per vehicle, so the more people you bring, the better the value per person. Shared excursions are usually priced per person. Every quote spells out exactly how the price is calculated.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. We believe in transparent pricing. The price you’re quoted covers everything listed in the itinerary. Optional extras (such as additional activities or upgraded accommodation) are always presented clearly before you commit.
On-Trip & Safety
How do you ensure a safe and enjoyable trip?
Your safety is our priority. We work only with licensed local guides and drivers, use modern, well-maintained vehicles, and follow careful safety measures including first-aid kits and regular vehicle checks. Our team is reachable throughout your journey should you need anything.
Will you pick me up from the airport or my hotel?
Yes — airport and hotel pickup is included on most of our tours. Simply share your flight details or accommodation address when booking, and your driver will be waiting for you at the agreed time and place.
Is Morocco safe for solo and female travelers?
Morocco is a welcoming destination for solo and female travelers, and our private tours add an extra layer of comfort with a trusted guide by your side. We’re happy to share practical tips on dress, etiquette, and getting around so you feel confident and at ease.
What should I pack for my tour?
Pack light, breathable clothing with a few modest options for visiting medinas and religious sites, comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, and a hat. If you’re heading to the desert or mountains, bring a warm layer for cool evenings. We’ll send tailored packing tips with your itinerary.
How can I reach you during my trip?
